Workshop Topic: Divorce Coaching, Grieving and Coping Tools

This session recognizes that divorce and relationship loss involve profound grief that deserves acknowledgment and support, while maintaining hope for healing and renewal.

Participants will explore how divorce creates unique forms of grief – mourning the loss of identity, dreams, and relationship while the person remains present in their lives. Unlike traditional bereavement, divorce involves ongoing ambiguous loss that requires specialized understanding and intervention strategies.

Rather than viewing divorce grief as an endless cycle of pain, this session introduces tools and coping strategies that honor the grieving process while actively building toward renewed purpose and identity.

Presenter: Shelly  Sadaphal, Divorce Coach, Grief Therapist
