Family Life Commission to launch docudrama and talk show on Pornography

The Archdiocesan Family Life Commission – in collaboration with Jubilee Ministries – has produced a four-part docudrama on pornography called Consider This which is set to air on TV6 on Sunday evenings during lent.  The same docudrama, accompanied by a one hour weekly talk show will also be aired on TCN (Channel 10 on Flow) every Friday from the 15th February to the 15th March at 8:00 p.m.

The docudrama which features a stellar cast of local actors and actresses addresses the not-often-discussed issue of addiction to pornography and its impact on individuals, families and the wider community.   The talk show of the same name will highlight such topics as the Influence of Pornography in the Media, Pornography in Schools and the Impact of Pornography on Individuals, Marriage and Family Life.  The show will feature such panellists as theologian Father Clive Harvey, psychologist Sr. Julie Peters, CTC Community Co-Founder Kyle Dardaine, educator and counsellor Dr. Patricia Ogilvie-Frederick, school principal Mr. Terrence Caesar and the Chairman of the Family Life Commission, Monsignor Robert Llanos among others.  The final show will be aired live at TCN studios and will include a call-in segment.  Viewers will also have an opportunity to send their questions and comments to Consider This – Archdiocese of Port of Spain Facebook page and questions will be answered on this final segment. Tune in to TV6 and TCN (Channel 10 on Flow)  for this ground-breaking initiative.
