Some 65 married couples, some of whom are involved in marriage preparation programmes, were at Emmaus Centre, Arima, on Saturday, October 12 to hear US marriage counsellor and author Dr Jim Healy. He shared on marriage preparation and on how to maintain a connection in marriage.
The Marriage Encounter (ME) movement has been in existence for the past 34 years. During this time we have seen many marriage unions grow ever stronger through couples’ participation in a ME weekend. These weekends have provided the “nutrients for the soil”, which has helped with the growth of these marriages.
